Kereru have worked very hard all year - and on the last day of school Ms Reader let us plan a class party! We dug our potatoes up that we grew in our garden and after Ms Reader cooked them and let them go cold, we cut them up and fried them in lots of electric frying pans with a little bit of butter. They were mmm...mmm...yummy! We ate them with salad and cheerios. We also had ice cream with chocolate hail and sprinkles. Before our shared lunch, we played party games which we chose ourselves. These were eating chocolate with a knife and fork, pass the parcel, and eating chocolate cake with our hands behinds our backs. Then we went horse racing in the afternoon.
